Lorna Quinn is a Registered Counsellor in private practice (HPCSA), dedicated to providing adults with an empathetic, calm, and confidential space. With many years of experience, she works collaboratively with clients to explore effective ways through various life challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and loss.

Lorna holds a special interest in the field of Dementia Care. She consults with both caregivers and families of individuals experiencing dementia, as well as with the person with dementia themselves. She facilitates several support groups for caregivers at various care facilities, focusing on offering valuable information and support for the difficult, long, and complex journey through dementia.

Over the years, Lorna has significantly contributed to dementia awareness through presentations, media interviews, and workshops. Her services are delivered in collaboration with various medical professionals in the field of dementia care, ensuring excellent and comprehensive support for her clients.

Lorna’s practice is informed by Narrative and Cognitive Behavioural ideas. She adopts a holistic approach to her interactions, purposefully encompassing the biological, emotional, psychological, creative, and spiritual dimensions of each person. This allows for deeper meaning to emerge from the conversations shared in the counselling space, supporting a comprehensive and integrated path to well-being.
